Hezbollah Official: Iran’s Intervention Redefined Regional Dynamics

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ali Al-Fayyad, a member of the “Loyalty to Resistance” parliamentary bloc in Lebanon, asserted in an interview with Al Mayadeen that the region has entered a new phase, demonstrating the U.S.’s diminished capacity to alter regional dynamics. He noted that supporters of the resistance in areas like the southern suburbs of Beirut feel united with other resistance fronts and remain undeterred despite significant costs.
Al-Fayyad further claimed that Iran’s entry into the defense of the resistance and the southern suburbs of Beirut signifies and completes the “unity of fronts.” The Lebanese representative emphasized that any initiative lacking a comprehensive ceasefire and failing to restrict Israel’s operational freedom is meaningless and ineffective.
Praising the Lebanese army’s conduct, Al-Fayyad stated that the army’s command has adopted a “wise” approach to managing the situation, taking into account Lebanon’s internal sensitivities. He concluded by suggesting that Lebanese President Joseph Aoun is under pressure from the United States, and that certain political decisions made have incurred costs for Lebanon.
