Hagest Denies NBC Report on 2028 Presidential Bid

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pentagon Press Secretary Pete Hagest has dismissed a report from NBC News regarding his potential candidacy in the 2028 elections, asserting that the information is entirely inaccurate.
Hagest, in a post on his personal social media account, republished the report from the NBC News network and stated: “100 percent false.” He added that the Pentagon had communicated this denial to NBC, but the network proceeded with reporting “lies” based on anonymous sources.
Continuing his remarks, Hagest declared that his sole duty is to enhance the standing of the U.S. Department of Defense. Addressing his supporters, he urged them to “Patriots, keep up the good work.”
The U.S. news network NBC had previously reported that Pete Hagest had discussed the possibility of running for president in the 2028 U.S. elections with friends and close associates. The report also noted that Hagest’s appearance at an event in Iowa earlier this month had fueled speculation about his potential presidential bid for 2028.
