US-Iran Talks Continue Amid Retaliatory Strikes, CNN Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by the Mehr News Agency, CNN claimed in a report today, Thursday, that an informed diplomatic source stated that talks between Iran and the United States are still on the right path.
An informed diplomatic source told the media outlet that negotiations to reach an agreement between the United States and Iran continue on the correct path following last night’s discussions. These negotiations are proceeding despite the exchange of overnight aerial attacks between the United States and Iran, which posed a threat to complicating diplomatic endeavors.
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced in a statement last night that it had launched new attacks against Iran under the orders of U.S. President Donald Trump.
U.S. forces targeted southern Iranian regions with airstrikes, citing the downing of an Apache helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz. These actions were met with a strong, decisive, and immediate response from the Iranian armed forces, resulting in the bombing of U.S. bases and interests in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
