Hezbollah Launches Intensified Strikes Against Israeli Forces
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hezbollah announced on Monday that it had launched a series of drone attacks against Israeli military targets in southern Lebanon. In a statement, the Lebanese resistance group reported that two Ababil suicide drones were used to target a Humvee vehicle and a Merkava tank belonging to the Israeli army in Khallet al-Rajj, in the town of Deir Siryan.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon further elaborated in another statement that its fighters targeted an Israeli army Merkava tank on the Safa al-Hawa road in Bint Jbeil with an Ababil drone. Hezbollah also claimed responsibility for an attack on a newly established artillery position belonging to the Israeli army in the town of Al-Odeisa, and an ammunition transport vehicle near the position, using two Ababil suicide drones.
The resistance group also stated that a group of Israeli army soldiers was targeted with an Ababil suicide drone as they attempted to flee the area near the newly established artillery position in Al-Odeisa in a military vehicle.
