Israel Seeks Swift Deal with Lebanon Amidst US-Iran Agreement

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency and reported by Russia Today, the Israeli newspaper “Israel Hayom” has reported that the Israeli regime is striving to accelerate talks with Lebanon and reach an agreement with Beirut as quickly as possible, coinciding with the United States and Iran achieving a full accord.
The report suggests that Tel Aviv’s objective in securing an agreement with the Beirut government, mediated by the United States, is to remove Iran’s demand for the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon from the agenda of negotiations between the two parties, positioning it as one of the conditions for a Tehran-Washington agreement.
Meanwhile, Israel’s Channel 12 TV, citing political sources, reported that certain political circles within Israel have criticized the potential Tehran-Washington agreement and have issued warnings regarding the binding clauses pertaining to Iran and Lebanon.
