Trump Reiterates Stance on Iran’s Nuclear Program, Mentions Netanyahu

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump reiterated his claim that Iran will never be able to possess nuclear weapons, stating that the world would be safer if this were the case. Trump’s remarks come amid Iran’s repeated assertions that its nuclear activities are peaceful and that it has no intention of pursuing nuclear weapons.
While attempting to downplay the consequences of potential conflict with Iran, the U.S. President stated, “Stock markets will see great prosperity and prices will come down. Oil is flowing. Our country is strong and safe and has unprecedented respect.”
In an interview with the Zionist channel Kan, the U.S. President commented on the upcoming elections, saying, “There is a good chance that I will support Netanyahu in the election, but I am waiting to get to know the other candidates. Netanyahu needs to be more rational. I am ready to meet with him.”
