Fifth Israeli Soldier Confirmed Killed in Southern Lebanon Operation

The Israeli military has announced the death of another soldier in southern Lebanon, bringing the total number of fatalities in a recent Hezbollah drone attack on a tank to five. The soldier was identified as Linaf Kababia, a member of the 52nd Battalion.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The Israeli army has confirmed the death of another soldier, Linaf Kababia from the 52nd Battalion, in southern Lebanon. This incident occurred during the same operation where Yoav Klein, Dor Gadalia Ben Simhon, and another Israeli soldier were killed.

Israeli media reports indicate that a suicide drone launched by Hezbollah exploded inside the cabin of a tank stationed in southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of four soldiers. The tank remains in southern Lebanon and is under Hezbollah fire, with the Israeli army reportedly unable to recover the bodies of its soldiers from inside the vehicle.

Efforts by the Israeli military to retrieve the remains of the deceased soldiers are ongoing. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that since the beginning of the clashes with Hezbollah on March 2nd, 36 officers and soldiers of the Israeli army have been killed in southern Lebanon.
