Israel Launches Large-Scale Military Drill Near Jaffa Amid Regional Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The Israeli military announced on Sunday the commencement of a significant military drill in the city of Jaffa. This exercise is taking place concurrently with continued operations in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, despite an existing ceasefire agreement, and amid ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States in Switzerland.
The Israeli military stated that the exercise began around the Jaffa area and is expected to continue until Tuesday morning. During this drill, security forces and military equipment will engage in extensive movements.
The occupying army elaborated that this exercise was pre-planned and is part of the military’s scheduled exercises for 2026. While the Israeli military did not provide specific details regarding the nature of the drill, observers suggest it could potentially serve as a prelude to intensified offensive operations planned by the occupying forces.
