Israeli state broadcaster Kan has reported that an official from former U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration met with Khalil al-Hayya, a senior leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The alleged meeting is said to be part of efforts aimed at the disarmament of Hamas.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on information published by the Mehr News Agency and cited by Al-Nashra news outlet, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (Kan) claimed that an official from the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump met with Khalil al-Hayya, identified as a leader within the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip. This meeting was reportedly part of consultations and discussions purportedly aimed at achieving the disarmament of Hamas.
