US Faces Setbacks in Iran Negotiations, Energy Prices Dip Amid Geopolitical Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a researcher focusing on American affairs, Malk Dudakov, writing for Eurasia Daily, has outlined the numerous obstacles hindering the Iran-U.S. negotiations, asserting that the White House is demonstrably engaging in deception. Dudakov stated that all attempts to abruptly alter the terms of the agreement and threats of a new war have met with a resounding failure. He further noted that the efforts of Trump’s negotiating team in the Middle East have contributed to an approximate 15% reduction in U.S. fuel prices over the past month. However, this economic shift has not significantly boosted the popularity of President Trump and the Republicans, which continues to hover at very low levels.
The majority of Americans hold the conviction that a war with Iran is antithetical to American interests, and President Trump has failed to achieve his stated objectives. Recent Iranian strikes on American bases in Kuwait and Bahrain underscore the continued robustness of Iran’s missile program. Consequently, the Pentagon is reportedly compelled to seriously consider relocating its bases from the Persian Gulf and consolidating them in more advantageous positions, situated beyond the reach of inexpensive Iranian drones. Sporadic U.S. attacks on Iran’s coastlines have yielded no tangible impact, as American forces have been unable to secure control of the Strait of Hormuz.
