Trump Administration Withholds Results of Minab School Attack Investigation

Despite over 120 days passing since a U.S. bombing of a girls’ primary school in Minab resulted in the deaths of 168 children and adults, the Trump administration has yet to officially release the findings of its Pentagon investigation. This silence has drawn criticism and calls for transparency from within the U.S. Congress.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United States government under President Donald Trump is reportedly withholding the results of its investigation into the bombing of a primary school in Minab, an incident that led to the deaths of 168 children and adults. Over 120 days have passed since the attack, and official U.S. silence has persisted.

Despite having near-immediate evidence indicating the school was struck, an Associated Press report revealed that the Trump administration has not accepted direct responsibility and has not officially disclosed the findings of the Pentagon’s investigation conducted on February 28. The information regarding this attack is based on a compilation of videos, human rights reports, and interviews with eyewitnesses and researchers.

A U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, disclosed that the U.S. military was aware of the attacks on the school. This source pointed to “systematic deficiencies” in the target identification and analysis process within the Pentagon. The Associated Press added that the fate of the Pentagon’s report remains unclear, even after 120 days. President Donald Trump recently stated he was unaware of the report and expressed doubt about U.S. responsibility for the attack.

Israeli War Minister Pete Hagest stated that the report would be revealed “at the appropriate time.” The delay in publishing these investigation results has sparked criticism, even within the U.S. Congress, which is demanding transparency regarding this tragedy.
