Basra Province to Observe Weekend Closure for Funeral of Martyred Leader

Basra Governor has announced that the province will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday to allow citizens to participate in the funeral ceremony for the ‘Martyred Leader of the Ummah.’ This follows similar announcements from Baghdad, Wasit, and Dhi Qar provinces.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Basra Governor has announced that the province will observe closures on the upcoming Wednesday and Thursday. This decision is to enable the people of Iraq to participate in the funeral procession of the “Martyred Leader of the Ummah.”
Previously, local officials in the Iraqi provinces of Baghdad, Wasit, and Dhi Qar had announced official holidays in their respective provinces for the upcoming Wednesday and Thursday, coinciding with the funeral of the “Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.”
