Trump Claims Iran Agreement Near, Invites Chinese President Xi to White House

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Monday that Iran is desperate to reach a deal and has accepted numerous conditions previously deemed unlikely. Speaking amidst criticism following the repercussions of a costly, unlawful incursion into Iranian territory, Trump claimed, “We have a very good situation with Iran; they are eager for an agreement, and we will see what happens! We will prevail over Iran, whether peacefully or by other means. They are not in a good position at all. Iran must sign a suitable agreement with us. Tehran must sign a suitable agreement with us!”
The U.S. President, in remarks seemingly aimed at placating domestic unrest stemming from his strategic missteps, further alleged, “We are making good progress; Iran has agreed to many things that many said they would never accept!”
He concluded by announcing, “Chinese President will visit the White House in late September.”
