Egypt and Qatar Foreign Ministers Discuss Regional Tensions

The Foreign Ministers of Egypt and Qatar held a phone call to discuss recent regional developments, emphasizing the necessity of de-escalation and preventing the spread of conflict.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani engaged in a telephone conversation as part of ongoing coordination between the two nations. The discussion focused on the latest regional tensions, with both ministers stressing the importance of managing these escalations and halting the expansion of the conflict’s scope.

Shoukry and Al Thani urged all parties involved to prioritize diplomatic dialogue and return to negotiations. They highlighted the significance of implementing the memorandum of understanding signed between American and Iranian parties, aiming to pave the way for a final agreement that would reduce tensions and bolster regional security and stability.
