US Eases Export Restrictions on UAE Amidst Iran Policy Alignment

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Department of Commerce has announced that it will ease export restrictions on the United Arab Emirates, making it easier to export artificial intelligence chips, military equipment, commercial satellites, and spacecraft. This decision was reported by Mehr News Agency, citing Reuters.
The department emphasized that this action is intended to bolster relations with the UAE, acknowledging the nation’s increasing influence in Washington’s strategic approaches toward Iran. Previously, news media had published documents indicating the UAE’s complicity with the United States and the Zionist regime during actions against Iran.
The U.S. Department of Commerce further stated that the United States has collaborated with the UAE for decades to counter Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Ansarallah. Referencing the U.S. and Zionist regime’s actions against Iran, which commenced in February, the department acknowledged that the UAE played a pivotal role in advancing American interests throughout these operations.
