Explosions Rock US Bases in Kuwait, Jordan; Echoes Heard in Iraq

Severe explosions have shaken U.S. military bases in Kuwait, with the concussions reportedly felt across Iraqi territory. Similar blasts were previously reported at a U.S. air base in Jordan and the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, intense explosions have reverberated through U.S. military installations in Kuwait, with the shockwaves extending into Iraq. These incidents follow earlier reports of significant explosions at the ‘Muwaffaq Salti’ air base in Jordan, utilized by American forces, and at the U.S. Fifth Fleet located in Bahrain.

The missile strike on the ‘Muwaffaq Salti’ air base in Jordan is reported to have caused massive explosions and seismic-like tremors within the facility. Consequently, air traffic at Amman Airport has been suspended. The Palestine Al-An news outlet also reported that additional explosions rocked Jordan’s King Hussein base. Al-Ghadir television network confirmed that explosions shook U.S. bases in Bahrain. Palestine Al-An further detailed that U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain experienced severe explosions, with missiles striking two targets within the American military base.

The Ministry of Interior of Bahrain issued an official statement announcing the activation of air raid sirens across the country and urged citizens to remain calm and adhere to safety instructions. The statement, published on the social media platform ‘X’, implored all citizens and residents to maintain composure, proceed to secure locations, and follow official channels for further updates and announcements.

Bahraini authorities have yet to provide extensive details regarding the precise cause of these events, leaving possibilities such as drills or emergency conditions unconfirmed. These strikes against U.S. bases in the region are reportedly in retaliation for American military actions against sites within Iran, attributed to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
