Kuwait Power Plant Suffers Severe Damage in Drone Attack Attributed to Iran

Kuwait’s Ministry of Water and Electricity reported that a significant number of power generation units sustained serious damage due to drone attacks on a national power plant, forcing the activation of emergency production lines. The ministry attributed the incident, which also affected desalination facilities, to an Iranian attack.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kuwait‘s Ministry of Water and Electricity has announced that numerous power generation units have been severely damaged as a result of drone attacks targeting one of the country’s power plants. The ministry further stated that the extent and severity of the damage necessitated the activation of emergency power production lines.
A statement from the Ministry of Water and Electricity detailed that the fire at the power generation and water treatment facility, attributed to an Iranian attack, caused damage to infrastructure and impacted many power generation units. Kuwait also claimed that several desalination plant facilities within the country were targeted in the assault.
