US Secretary of State Claims Readiness for Diplomacy with Iran Amidst Ongoing Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, while in the Philippines for the ASEAN summit, asserted Washington’s readiness for diplomacy with Iran, a move described as a stark and contradictory shift. Rubio claimed that the United States has consistently been prepared and continues to pursue diplomatic solutions.
Rubio’s remarks, delivered with threatening language regarding Iran’s economic situation, also accused Iran of launching missiles and drones. These statements come at a time when the U.S. has reportedly conducted its ninth consecutive night of military attacks against Iran’s military and infrastructure centers, a move described as a clear violation of the ‘Islamabad’ memorandum of understanding.
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed the continuation of these incursions, claiming to have targeted command centers, air defense systems, coastal surveillance facilities, and Iran’s communication networks.
