US Lawmaker Criticizes Trump’s Iran Policy Amid Escalating Tensions

Former US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has sharply criticized President Donald Trump’s strategy concerning Iran, alleging undue influence and questioning the rationale behind military actions that she claims are jeopardizing civilian lives and serving foreign interests.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United States military’s role has been reduced to that of a “policeman” for the Strait of Hormuz, according to former US Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. Citing data published by Mehr News Agency in conjunction with Al Mayadeen, Greene asserted that Trump’s policies are influenced by Miriam Adelson and Israel.

Greene further elaborated in a social media post, stating, “This war began for Israel, and now everything is about the Strait of Hormuz and controlling oil. It appears there is no end in sight, as the bombings now include power and water facilities in Iran and Kuwait. Countless innocent lives will be at risk without electricity and especially water. American soldiers did not volunteer to sacrifice themselves. They were killed because of the war that Trump and his administration have initiated on behalf of a foreign government, namely Israel.”

The current US President is reportedly focusing his attention on opening the Strait of Hormuz, which Greene contends was already open prior to the escalation of conflict against Iran. This approach has drawn significant criticism within the United States, particularly in light of what is described as Trump’s unproductive belligerence towards Iran.
