Hezbollah Leader Praises Hamas’s Continued Resistance Path Under New Political Chief

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Sheikh Naim Qassem, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, sent a message to Khalil Al-Hayya following his election as the head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). Qassem stated that Al-Hayya’s selection amidst challenging circumstances signifies Hamas’s steadfastness, resolve, and determination to continue the path of resistance.

In his statement, Qassem affirmed that Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance support Hamas’s jihadist approach and its ultimate goals of reclaiming land and rights. He emphasized that both organizations are united in their confrontation with the Israeli regime and the “tyrannical” United States, advancing with steadfastness and sacrifice.

The statement highlighted that despite three years having passed since “Al-Aqsa Storm,” the Zionist enemy has failed to achieve its objectives. Qassem elaborated that the ongoing conflict, though resulting in destruction and loss of life, has ignited a spirit of responsibility for freedom and dignity.

“Your Excellency Mr. Khalil Al-Hayya, Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas

Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

Your election as the Head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement, under the difficult circumstances resulting from the Israeli and American aggressions that the Palestinian people, Gaza, and the entire region are grappling with, demonstrates steadfastness, resolve, and determination to continue the flame of resistance. This resistance, for which the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, as the most prominent group of mujahideen and sacrifices, is the main representative, is for the most important issue of our time: the liberation of Jerusalem and Palestine from the cancerous growth of the Zionist regime.

From our perspective, your leadership of Hamas, a movement with decades of field jihadist experience and the father of several martyrs, signifies the continuation of the path of martyred leaders, foremost among them Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, the founder of Hamas, and Ismail Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar, and other mujahideen commanders and members of Hamas, and the Palestinian people, so that the sacred path of resistance continues in cooperation with Palestinian factions, relying on the sacrifices of the struggling Palestinian people and their steadfastness.

We emphasize to you that we in Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance are with you, and we confirm and support you in your jihad and your goals of reclaiming land and rights. This is a covenant drawn by our great martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may God sanctify his soul) and other martyrs of the path of truth.

We are companions of the same sacred and valuable vision whose compass is set towards Jerusalem and Palestine, the path established by the late Imam Khomeini, and continued by Imam Khamenei in the path of supporting the oppressed and backing the resistance.

All of us have stood with steadfastness and sacrifice against the war waged by the Zionist regime and American arrogance. Despite three years having passed since ‘Al-Aqsa Storm,’ the enemy has not been able to achieve its goals of genocide, ending resistance, and making it surrender. This crime has caused destruction and the killing of women and children and the devastation of many people’s lives, but it has ignited the flame of custodianship for freedom and dignity. We look to the future with hope for the promised victory, as Almighty God says: ‘Indeed, We will support Our messengers and those who believe during the life of this world and on the Day when the witnesses will stand.’ (Surah Ghafir, Verse 51).
