President Donald Trump of the United States has reasserted threats to target Iranian nuclear facilities, while U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the continuation and potential escalation of sanctions against Tehran.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has reiterated his stance that any nuclear facility Iran intends to reactivate will face renewed attacks.
U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth further stated that Washington’s sanctions against Iran will persist, with increasing pressure being applied to Tehran and the possibility of further intensification.
In response, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized Iran’s commitment to its legal rights in any negotiations with the United States, asserting that Iran will continue its path under the guidance of the Supreme Leader.
