Russian Sukhoi Su-57 Fighter Jet Crashes Near Moscow

A Russian military jet, believed to be a Sukhoi Su-57 fifth-generation fighter, crashed in the Moscow region near Zvenigorod. Initial reports suggest the pilots may have ejected safely before impact, though official details remain unconfirmed.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a Russian military aircraft crashed near Zvenigorod in the Moscow region. Preliminary reports indicate the aircraft may have been a Sukhoi Su-57, Russia’s sole operational fifth-generation fighter jet.

Russian media outlet ‘Astra’ reported that the pilots likely managed to eject successfully before the aircraft went down. As of now, there has been no official confirmation regarding the type of aircraft, the status of the crew, or the cause of the crash.

Moscow has presented this aircraft as one of its most advanced planes, capable of performing air superiority, attack, and air defense missions. However, this fighter jet has only been deployed in limited numbers.
