Hamas Vows Escalated Confrontation Following Deadly Jenin Operation
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas has issued a statement extending condolences to the Palestinian people, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations, following the martyrdom of Palestinians during the occupying regime’s attack on Jenin. The statement, citing data released by the Mehr News Agency via the Shehab News Agency, condemned the “heinous crime” as an addition to the occupying regime’s “bloody record” against the Palestinian people, asserting that it will only be met with increased fury and confrontation.
Hamas emphasized that the West Bank will continue to be a cradle of fighters and epic struggles, with the resilient Palestinian people remaining committed to their land, rights, and unwavering principles. The movement underscored that Palestinian resistance will not deviate from its loyalty to the blood of martyrs, upholding their testament until freedom is achieved and the occupiers are expelled.
The group held the occupying regime fully responsible for the repercussions of these escalating attacks and crimes, stressing that the continuation of the “barbaric policy” of killing, destruction, and instilling terror will not bring security or stability to the regime. Hamas called upon the Palestinian people in Jenin and all West Bank provinces to intensify all forms of resistance, disrupt the occupying regime’s security calculations, confront the regime’s crimes and the attacks by settler groups, and unify national efforts to strengthen steadfastness against plots of annihilation, annexation, and forced displacement.
Furthermore, Hamas urged the Arab and Islamic nations, the international community, and human rights and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action to halt the escalating aggression by the occupying regime against the Palestinian people and land, and to end the impunity that emboldens the regime’s leaders to continue their atrocities.
