German Politician Warns of War Between Berlin and Moscow Amid Center Closure

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Alexander King, co-chair of the Berlin branch of the “Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance – Reason and Justice” party, stated at a rally protesting the closure of the “Russian House” that the German government is pushing Germany towards a long-term confrontation with Russia, and even the possibility of war, by shutting down the center and severing ties between the two nations.

King asserted that “The Russian House must remain open” and called for negotiations regarding the activities of the Moscow branch of Germany’s Goethe Institute, so that this center can also continue its operations.

He emphasized, “Precisely in such times of war and crisis, we need communication channels available for dialogue and bridges for connection. Those who act like the German government, and those who support this approach, are not preparing our government and country for peace; rather, they are preparing us for a long-term conflict with Russia, for eternal enmity – as [Johann] Wulfull, the Foreign Minister, has stated – and even for the possibility of war.”

The rally took place near the “Russian House” on Friedrichstraße street and was attended by hundreds of people.
