Yemen Vows Continued Response to Saudi Aggression Until Ceasefire

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen issued a statement asserting that the ongoing aggression by Saudi Arabia necessitates a continued response until the cessation of hostilities. Based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al-Masirah, the ministry stated that Yemeni armed forces are committed to defending the country’s sovereignty, safeguarding its citizens, and targeting attack sources in accordance with international law.
The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the recent increase in military movements by the Saudi regime on Yemeni soil has made a response from the armed forces imperative. The ministry characterized the Saudi regime’s persistent pleas as an attempt to conceal its continuous crimes against the Yemeni people, citing hundreds of airstrikes as the latest instance.
Furthermore, the statement clarified that Yemen has never been and will not be a source of threat. The nation seeks to establish relationships based on mutual respect and is prepared to be a part of the region’s security system.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen urged the international community to objectively examine the course of events and compel the Saudi regime to cease targeting Yemen, violating its sovereignty, and plundering its assets and resources.
