Pakistan, Iran Discuss Energy Security and Regional Stability
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held discussions with his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, emphasizing the critical need for uninterrupted energy supply and secure maritime passage amidst global supply chain concerns. Both nations underscored diplomacy as the key to regional peace.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Pakistan‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Saturday announcing that Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar engaged in consultations with his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi. During their conversation, Dar underscored the paramount importance of the continuous and uninterrupted provision of energy.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs further stated that Dar highlighted the necessity of guaranteeing the safe passage of vessels, considering the profound implications for global supply chains. He stressed that sustained dialogue and robust diplomacy are the essential pathways to securing peace and stability within the region.
