Netanyahu Meets UAE President bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli media, including Channel 12, reported that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, met with Mohammed bin Zayed, the President of the UAE, in Abu Dhabi today. Netanyahu reportedly spent the entire day in the UAE. Official sources from both sides have not yet confirmed or denied this news.

The process of normalizing relations between the UAE and the Israeli regime began in 2009 with increased diplomatic contacts and unofficial cooperation. In the same year, the UAE hosted meetings related to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), and subsequently, the Israeli regime’s representative office at the headquarters of this body was opened in Abu Dhabi in 2015. This move was one of the most significant public steps towards normalizing relations between the two parties.

Furthermore, the UAE and the Israeli regime established diplomatic relations in 2020 within the framework of the “Abraham Accords,” and since then, political, economic, and security cooperation between these two regimes has expanded.
