UAE Prosecutor Orders Probe into Flydubai Incident, Terrorism Link Under Scrutiny

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Public Prosecution in the United Arab Emirates has ordered an investigation into an incident involving Flydubai and its potential connection to any terrorist activities. The announcement was made by the official Emirati news agency, WAM, as reported by Al Jazeera.
This directive from the UAE’s prosecution comes after flight FZ1073, operated by Flydubai, which was en route from Dubai to Tel Aviv, was compelled to alter its course and make an emergency landing in Tabuk Airport, Saudi Arabia. The diversion occurred on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, following a security incident within the aircraft’s cockpit.
Flydubai has since issued a statement announcing the suspension of its flights to the occupied territories. The airline indicated that the suspension of services on routes connected to Israel will persist until the cause of the recent incident is thoroughly determined.
