Yemen’s Military Spokesperson Alleges Saudi Arabia Uses Al-Rayyan Airport for Arms Transfer

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, has stated that the “criminal Saudi enemy” is using Al-Rayyan Airport for the transfer of weapons and military equipment intended to harm the Yemeni population. This assertion was reported by Al Masirah news agency, citing data published by Mehr News Agency.

The accusations coincide with recent news that Al-Rayyan Airport, located in Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate in southeastern Yemen, was the target of missile and drone strikes. Some media sources indicated that the Yemeni Armed Forces were responsible for targeting a gathering point of Saudi army commanders at the airport.

These sources further reported that the attack was carried out using ballistic missiles and drones, with precise impacts reported. Initial information suggests that a number of individuals were killed or injured as a result of this operation.
