Israeli Defense Minister Claims Iran and Muslim Brotherhood Plotting Attacks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz has alleged that a Shiite axis, spearheaded by Iran and its proxies, in conjunction with the Muslim Brotherhood, is orchestrating plans to launch attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians.

Katz further asserted, in statements reflecting Iran’s perceived anxiety and fear of resistance, that army soldiers had thwarted an attempt by a Hamas cell from Hebron to carry out an operation aimed at killing a significant number of civilians.

Earlier, in response to a self-sacrificing operation in Hebron that resulted in the deaths of two occupation soldiers and injuries to four others, the Israeli Defense Minister had stated that the neighborhood from which the Hebron attackers originated would be evacuated and all terrorist infrastructure demolished.

He had claimed at the time that saboteurs, and those who dispatched, supported, and backed them, would pay a very heavy price.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also stated that there were intelligence reports indicating Iran’s intention to attack Israel before the elections.
