Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to international organizations based in Vienna, took to social media on Monday to detail his recent meeting with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

During the talks, the senior Russian diplomat highlighted that both parties thoroughly reviewed the current operational and security conditions at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear facility and its adjacent residential satellite city of Energodar. Ulyanov emphasized that plant personnel and their families residing in the area continue to face persistent drone attacks launched by Ukrainian armed forces.
