US Voter Discontent Soars to 75% Amidst Economic Concerns and Policy Criticism

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a comprehensive new election survey conducted in the United States has exposed widespread public discontent, with nearly 100,000 citizens participating after casting their ballots.
This research initiative was overseen by the SSRS research institute and collaborated with prominent U.S. media outlets, including CNN, Fox News, Associated Press, CBS, and MSNBC.
The findings indicate that around 75% of respondents reported being dissatisfied or angry with the nation’s current direction. Furthermore, approximately 60% of voters disapproved of President Donald Trump’s performance, emphasizing the perceived failure of government policies in addressing major challenges.
A significant surge in daily living expenses and inflation has been identified as the root cause of this profound dissatisfaction. In this context, nearly 60% of respondents highlighted the role of President Trump’s administration’s policies in the increased cost of goods and the financial strain on American families, deeming it beyond the government’s control.
In another section of the survey, roughly 40% of participants identified ‘the economy’ as the biggest challenge facing the United States. Conversely, approximately 30% cited the ‘state of democracy and the future of the political system’ as their primary concern.
The findings also reveal a strong inclination among 70% of voters for increased congressional oversight and control over the President’s actions, reflecting a public demand to curb the powers of the White House.
This public demand gains particular significance in the lead-up to electoral and midterm congressional developments. A potential shift in the balance of power and the loss of seats by the ruling party could pave the way for increased parliamentary pressure and extensive investigations into the Trump administration’s performance.
