Deadly Saudi Airstrikes Target Residential Areas in Yemen Causing Dozens of Casualties

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi fighter jets launched a horrific series of airstrikes against residential areas and civilian homes in the Bani Hashish district, located east of the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, resulting in numerous casualties.
The director of the health office in Bani Hashish reported that the death toll from the aerial assault has risen to 11 martyrs and 20 wounded, including several women and children. Initial casualty reports specifically highlighted the devastating impact of the bombardment on the village of Al-Shariah in the region.
Following the heavy bombardments, five residential houses were completely destroyed, while rescue teams continue their urgent efforts to search for survivors trapped beneath the rubble.
Reports indicate that Saudi warplanes executed the operation in two separate waves, deliberately targeting rescue workers who had rushed to the scene to aid the injured and transport them to medical facilities.
These dramatic developments unfolded just one day after the bombing of Al-Hadarah market in the Al-Wazi’iyah district of Taiz province, which occurred during peak hours and left more than 30 civilians dead and wounded.
Observers note that these military actions by Saudi Arabia are attempts to exert intense pressure following battlefield setbacks and the failure to counter Yemeni missile capabilities.
