The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense units successfully tracked and eliminated 50 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Moscow time. The operations took place over the skies of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Rostov oblasts, as well as the Crimean Peninsula.

In a related development, Rostov Governor Yury Slyusar reported that debris from one of the downed drones struck the roof of a bridge spanning the Mius River, along with two crawler cranes, resulting in material damage. However, the incident caused no loss of life, though a section of the roadway leading to the bridge was temporarily closed.
Previously, the Russian defense department had released reports detailing the destruction of an additional 142 Ukrainian drones during overnight operations.
