according to the report of the international group Tasnim News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark announced on Tuesday that it has decided after the withdrawal of its forces as part of the “NATO mission in Iraq”, to close its embassy in Baghdad. The NATO mission, which had been opened, will close with the departure of the majority of Danish military forces on May 31. 2022, the country continued to make a significant military contribution to the mission until the beginning of 2024. But for now, a smaller number of Danish personnel will continue to assist in this mission.
