Blinken: We did not participate in any aggressive action against Iran

The US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke on the sidelines of the Group of 7 meeting about various issues, including the issue of Iran, Israel and the Gaza war.

In his speech, Blinken condemned Iran’s recent missile and drone action in the occupied territories.

He further emphasized that we ask Iran and Israel not to escalate the tension and seek to reduce the tension.

Anthony Blinken, referring to last night’s attack attributed to Israel against Iran, emphasized at the same time that America did not participate in any aggressive action against Iran.

At the same time, Blinken stressed that we are committed to supporting Israel to defend itself and we will participate in its defense if necessary. The US Secretary of State also emphasized the commitment of Washington and other partners to hold Iran accountable for what he called Iran’s destabilizing actions.

Blinken also announced the intention of the Group of 7 to impose more sanctions against Iran and said that the members of the Group of 7 have approved it. Regarding the situation in Gaza, he also claimed that America wants more support for humanitarian efforts in the Gaza Strip and emphasized that we should distribute aid better in the Gaza Strip.

Despite the obstacles of Tel Aviv and Netanyahu’s cabinet on the way to a ceasefire, Blinken accused Hamas of this and claimed that Hamas is the only party that prevents us from a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

The US foreign minister, whose country vetoed the resolution of Palestine’s full membership in the UN Security Council, also commented on this and said, the right time to recognize the state of Palestine has not yet come!

He further claimed: We want a future in the region that guarantees Israel’s integration into it and also solves the Palestinian issue.
