report Mehr News Agency quoted by Bloomberg, after Tel Aviv’s claim that Ankara has also blocked access of third countries to Turkish ports for trade with Israel, Turkey has cut its trade relations with the Zionist regime. Suspended completely.
Bloomberg quoted two Turkish officials familiar with the matter and claimed that all Turkish exports and imports to and from Israel have been suspended.
Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz separately claimed that Ankara has also tried to prevent imports and exports related to Israel in Turkish ports. Accusing Ankara of violating trade agreements with Tel Aviv, he said that “he has instructed the Israeli Foreign Ministry to look for alternatives by focusing on other countries.”
The Zionist foreign minister did not clarify which Turkish ports have prevented trade with Tel Aviv. According to a diplomatic source to Al-Monitor, the Israeli Foreign Ministry has already confirmed the effects of Turkey’s decision to stop exports.
Turkey announced in April that the country will limit the export of a wide range of its products to Israel until a ceasefire is declared in the Gaza Strip. According to the Turkish Ministry of Trade, this restriction includes 54 different products, including iron, marble, steel, cement, aluminum, bricks, chemical fertilizers, construction equipment, as well as rocket and aircraft fuel.
