report Mehr News Agency citing Lebanon 24, Centcom announced the suspension of the construction of a floating dock on the coast of Gaza due to bad weather conditions.
Centcom announced that the intensity of the wind and the height of the sea waves created unsafe conditions for the soldiers who are working on the construction of the pier.
It should be said that America is looking to build a floating dock on the coast of Gaza. The design consists of two main components that need to be connected together – a large floating pier consisting of steel components and a 548-meter two-way passage and pier.
This crossing consists of connecting 12-meter steel pieces that continue to the coast.
Cargo ships deliver supplies to Gazan waters, and the aid is then loaded onto a number of boats and smaller ships – known as logistics support vessels – and taken to the docks. From there, ground vehicles will take the facilities into Gaza.
This metal track is connected in the sea and then directed to the coast, and American forces do not have to set foot on the Gaza coast.
