according to the report of the international group Tasnim News Agency, Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, who came to attend the conference of science and Fanon nuclear traveled to Iran and met with Ali Bagheri, Political Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and our country’s chief negotiator in the sanctions lifting negotiations.

During this meeting, various dimensions of cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency were discussed and opinions were exchanged.

Bagheri, while pointing out the importance of cooperation between Iran and the Agency, emphasized the necessity of impartiality and professionalism of the Agency as a specialized organization.

He also stated that the peaceful nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic of Iran are always within the framework of international obligations, including the Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Rafael Grossi also considered his trip to Tehran as a sign of the agency’s will to maintain a constructive atmosphere in its relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
