report Mehr News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, a high-ranking Egyptian official discussed Cairo’s latest stance on Gaza and Rafah.
This high-ranking Egyptian official told the Associated Press that Egypt has protested to Tel Aviv, Washington and European countries due to the Zionist regime’s attack on Rafah.
The Egyptian official stated that Egypt has warned that the attack on Rafah will seriously jeopardize the peace agreement with Tel Aviv.
On the other hand, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said: We emphasize the importance of achieving an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners.
He added: Israel is responsible for the closure of the Rafah crossing and the delay in sending humanitarian aid to Gaza. We are moving in the direction of curbing the Gaza crisis and we have made a lot of efforts together with America and Qatar.
