The components of Iran’s foreign policy after the “Al-Aqsa storm” operation

The components of Iran’s positions in the Gaza war

Iran sided with the resistance from the very beginning of the war on October 7 and emphasized the positive achievements of the Al-Aqsa storm operation. Among the most important components of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran after the Al-Aqsa storm operation, the following can be mentioned:

1. Emphasizing the priority of the Palestinian issue in foreign policy, especially in supporting the resistance groups and rejecting the Zionist occupation.

2. Strengthening strategic relations with currents and groups close to us in the axis of resistance and maintaining the power and position of these groups and preventing them from leaving the field of regional influence.

3. Maintaining the power of deterrence and strengthening this deterrence at the regional level, especially in managing the confrontation with the Zionist regime.

The nature of Iran’s positions regarding the Al-Aqsa storm operation

The most important positions of Iran regarding Operation Storm include the following:

1. From the very beginning of October 7, Iran emphasized that the Hamas movement acts independently in its decisions based on its internal assessments and calculations.

2. All the political elements of Iran emphasized their strong political support for the resistance and hosted delegations of leaders of Hamas and other resistance groups. Iran supported the options and positions of Palestinian resistance in regional and international circles.

3. From the very beginning of the war, Tehran announced its desire to end it and made reaching a lasting ceasefire as soon as possible among the basic priorities of its diplomacy.

4. In response to the terrorist attack by the Zionist regime on its consulate in Damascus, Iran carried out its operations based on precise calculations. Iran’s operation against the Zionist regime was extensive and precise and was considered a kind of measure against the Zionist regime, it strengthened Iran’s regional position and created a powerful deterrent equation for Iran.

5. Iran’s public opinion has shown a significant interaction with the Palestinian issue, and a large-scale public march was held in this country in support of the resistance and Gaza.
