Al-Ashtar Brigade was declared as a terrorist organization by the UAE, Canada, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in 2014. The United States also added this group to the list of terrorist organizations in 2018. While this group was not active in the past years, it recently targeted the building of the “Trucknet” transport company and other vital targets in the port of Eilat in the south of occupied Palestine.

This action is considered to be a change in the performance of the resistance, which was carried out from the territory of Iraq. The Embassy of Bahrain in Washington also announced that the Al-Ashtar battalions are operating outside the territory of Bahrain. So far, none of the resistance groups have chosen the territory of another country for their activities, and they have not carried out military action against the Zionist regime or the United States from the territory of another country.

This action of the Al-Ashtar battalions also means that being trapped in a country that is facing an authoritarian and dictatorial government and has close relations with the Zionist regime is not a reason. The youth of that country should not take the path of resistance. In addition, the formation of the resistance group in a country like Bahrain, which has a closed and authoritarian political environment, shows that the position of the axis of resistance in the West Asian region is expanding, and this is one of the strategic consequences. Messages of Bahrain’s resistance action against the Zionist regime

The action of Al-Ashtar battalions in Bahrain contains several important messages. The first message is that from the point of view of many Bahraini people and groups, the normalization of relations between this country and the Zionist regime is not only unacceptable, but it can even cause the formation of new resistance nuclei against the Zionist regime.

The second message is that the official policy of the Arab governments regarding the Palestinian issue and their desire to normalize relations with the Zionist regime It cannot lead to more security for this regime, especially if the Zionist regime uses the normalization of relations as an opportunity to act against Palestine.

The third message is that the governments that normalize relations with the Zionist regime or the crimes of this regime support against the Palestinians, not only do not bring them more security, but also create more threats, especially from their own people. Defending Palestine is an important part of people’s demands in Arab and Islamic countries. This issue has been proven in practice with the formation of Bahraini resistance.

In this regard, the Supreme Leader of the 12th Day Revolution In May 1403, in a meeting with the teachers, they mentioned: “Some people think that they will go and force the surrounding countries to normalize their relations with the Zionist regime, the problem will be solved; No, they are wrong. Let’s suppose that various countries, mainly Arab countries, normalize their relations with the Zionist regime, this will not solve the problem, but it will point the problem to their governments. That is, those governments that turned a blind eye to these crimes and made friends with that regime despite such crimes, the nations will fall for the lives of those governments. If today the nations of the region are against the Zionist regime, that day the nations of the region will be against their own governments.”

The fourth message is that the formation of a popular force in the context of resistance can be a new threat to America and also limit America’s maneuver circle in the West Asia region. Manama, the capital of Bahrain, hosts the headquarters of the US Navy’s 5th Fleet. If America’s anti-resistance policy continues or escalates, the formation of forces such as the Al-Ashtar battalions can cause problems for the American military presence in Manama in the future.

The fifth message is that alignment with Gaza and support for the people of Gaza is spreading to the people of other countries. whose governments are friends of the Zionist regime.
