Inviting Iranian companies to invest in Afghanistan

According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Nuruddin Azizi”, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban government Kazem Jalali, Iran’s ambassador to Moscow, met and discussed on the sidelines of the Kazan Forum.
According to the announcement published by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Taliban government, in this meeting, Dawood Mirzakhani, the Iranian Consul General residing in Kazan and Some of the participating Iranian companies were also present at the trade fair of the Kazan Forum.
The statement added that in this meeting, the two sides, while emphasizing the expansion of trade and economic relations between the two countries, regarding the transit routes, the 24-hour operation of the Afghan customs and Iran and the trade balance of the two countries.
Azizi further invited Iranian companies to invest in Afghanistan and said: Afghanistan is a good opportunity for investment with its huge natural resources and young workforce.

He previously also met with a number of Iranian businessmen in Kabul. He asked them to invest in Afghanistan. The Minister of Industry and Trade of the Taliban government said that Iran is one of Afghanistan’s good and friendly neighbors and “the arms of the Afghan government are open to all domestic and foreign investors. We are trying to provide investment grounds”.
