Dawn News: A number of Pakistani nationals were deported with Afghan immigrants
A Pakistani newspaper reported that the police of this country have deported a number of Pakistani nationals along with Afghan immigrants. |
According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Dawn News” quoted a source in the Afghan consulate in Peshawar as reporting that Pakistani forces have also deported a number of people living in Khyber-Pashtun Khwa who have Pakistani birth certificates in the process of mass arrest and deportation of Afghan immigrants.
In this report, it is said that after coming to Afghanistan, these people were recognized by Taliban border officials and returned to Khyber Pashtun Khwaja.
In a part of this report, it is stated: among illegal immigrants, a number of such cases have also been reported, which shows that Pakistani nationals have been transferred to Afghanistan with Afghan immigrants.
But the Afghan consulate in Pakistan called this claim baseless and emphasized that all Afghan immigrants are biometrically checked before they are deported and before entering the country and are sent to Afghanistan after confirming their identity.
However, a number of political experts say that Kabul should establish a regular identification system to establish the identity of migrants inside Afghanistan as well as on Pakistani soil to prevent possible security threats.
