Faisal Al-Maqdad’s message of condolence for Ali Bagheri

According to the international group Tasnim news agency, Syrian Foreign Minister “Faisal al-Maqdad” in a message to “Ali Bagheri Keni”, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Ibrahim Raisi and Dr. Hossein Amirabdollahian and their honorable companions in the painful accident of the helicopter crash. It is with great regret and sadness that we received the news of the martyrdom of Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Dr. Hossein Amirabdollahian, our dear brother and friend, and their companions as a result of a helicopter crash. I offer my condolences from the bottom of my heart to you and the leadership and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the families of the martyrs for this great loss. ; Leaders who dedicated their lives to serving their homeland and the Islamic Ummah and worked with earnestness and sincerity to achieve stability and prosperity for the Iranian nation and made many sincere efforts to strengthen cooperation and solidarity between our nations and countries. The Syrian Foreign Minister added that the martyrdom of my dear brother and friend Dr. Amir Abdollahian is a great loss for me and all those who knew him, considering the close relations we had with each other on a personal and professional level for many years. The loss of this honorable dear is also a great loss for Iran; Because he was an influential figure inside this country and an important player in its foreign policy.

This Syrian official stated that martyr Amir Abdollahian was devoted and sincere to the development of his country and strengthening its regional and international relations. He tried and, thanks to his relentless and great efforts, he left a clear mark on the international arena.

In the end, he stressed: We are sure that the Islamic Republic of Iran has the power to overcome this great calamity and continue. It has a pivotal role at the regional and international level in promoting security and stability as well as supporting the just aspirations of the nations. Yesterday, the Syrian government expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the nation, government and leadership of Iran for the martyrdom of Jansouz. Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi and Dr. Hossein Amirabdollahian and their delegation announced 3 days of public mourning in Syria.
