According to the report of the international group Tasnim news agency, “Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations, attended the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations in New York yesterday evening local time to pay tribute to the martyrs of Raisi and Amir Abdollahian.
Previous Guterres also condoled the martyrdom of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other senior officials in the helicopter crash.
Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi was martyred on May 30 in the accident of the president’s helicopter in Varzeghan region of East Azerbaijan. On Thursday, June 3rd, the body of martyr Raisi was buried in Imam Ali bin Musa al-Reza shrine. Malik Rahmati, the governor of Tabriz, Sergeant Seyed Mehdi Mousavi, the head of the President’s Protection Unit, pilot colonel Seyed Taher Mostafavi, pilot colonel Mohsen Daryanush, technical major Behrouz al-Gadi and one of Ayatollah Raisi’s bodyguards are among the martyrs of this accident.
