Türkiye warned against NATO’s involvement in the Ukraine war

According to Mehr News Agency, Fidan told reporters at the informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers on Friday: “The participation of the alliance in the conflict will lead to more crises and the expansion of the conflict in the region.”
Fidan noted: While NATO countries continue their efforts to provide military support (to Ukraine), Turkey raises the issue of transferring the solution of the situation to the diplomatic sphere.
He added: They ignore this. We emphasize that this issue should be resolved not only through military means but also through dialogue. If we do not make a diplomatic effort, everything will lead to more risks. We talked about this before.”
He emphasized: Now we see that more countries support our point of view.
It should be said that a number of NATO countries, including the United States, have allowed Ukraine to use their weapons to target Russian territory.
