Russia will join the global markets.

In the statement published on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia about the outcome of this meeting, it is mentioned that the Russian side Fact noted that illegal unilateral sanctions continue to hinder the supply of Russian domestic products to global markets, and the blocking measures have clearly negatively affected consumers in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

In this meeting, special attention was also paid to the issue of “supplying Russian grains and chemical fertilizers to countries in need with the participation of the United Nations”. On Friday, Russia announced at the national grain conference that the country plans to sell 70 million tons of its current season’s grain to world markets, of which 53 million tons are wheat. He reminded that last year Russian farmers harvested approximately 150 million tons of grain.

A few days ago, Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut announced that due to the view of the countries Westerners who identify this country as responsible for their problems, Moscow authorities do not intend to make changes in the grain industry. According to him, the Russian side will continue to produce grain, sell it and ensure the food security of countries that need it. He added that Russia will continue to develop its grain industry as planned.

Consequences of the European Union’s decision to impose tariffs on Russian grain

Furthermore, it was reported on Friday that the Council of the European Union approved a decision to impose restrictive tariffs on grain imports from Russia and Belarus starting July 1.

It is mentioned on the website of the European legislative body that the adopted resolutions will significantly increase the customs duties for grains, oilseeds and other agricultural products from Russia and Belarus. as a result of which their imports to European countries will be stopped.

Of course, according to some economic experts, protective measures against Russian producers of agricultural products are primarily at the expense of grain products in The internal markets in the European Union will be negatively affected and thus the people of the Eurozone will suffer.
