According to the announcement published by the Taliban Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, in this meeting the two sides While talking about the available investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s mineral resources, they discussed and exchanged opinions about the provision of a suitable environment and national security in Afghanistan.
The announcement adds that the head of the Iranian company in this meeting, by giving explanations about his company’s activities, expressed his interest for Investing in the oil sector and building a standard refinery in Afghanistan.
Delavar, while welcoming this proposal, assured the necessary cooperation and creation of facilities for the mentioned company.
It should be said that Afghanistan currently has a 25-year oil contract with a Chinese company to extract and refine oil from the Amu Darya field in northern Afghanistan.
