According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, “Zamir Kabulov”, the special representative of the Russian President in Afghanistan told TASS that the meeting of the contact group under the Moscow format regarding Afghanistan will be held in Tehran on June 19.
He added that the representatives of Russia, China, Iran and Pakistan will participate in this meeting.
Tass news agency stated that Kabulov had also discussed preparations for the third Doha meeting with Taliban representatives. Putin’s special representative also said that Russia does not rule out cooperation with Afghanistan within the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. /p>
